Qualification for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)
Candidates applying for the JSO post must meet one of the following conditions:
- Must have scored at least 60% marks in Mathematics in Class 12 and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject
OR - Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics included as one of the subjects during the degree program
Qualification for Statistical Investigator Grade-II
- Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject, but Statistics must be included as one of the core subjects

- The degree must be from a recognized university or institute
Qualification for All Other Posts

- All sections in Paper-I must be passed separately.

How to Apply for SSC CGL 2025
The application process is fully online and has two main steps:
Step 1: One-Time Registration (OTR)
- Visit the new official SSC website.
- Click “Login or Register” and then “Register Now.”
- Fill in your details like Aadhaar number, full name, date of birth, father’s/mother’s name, education, etc.
- Create a strong password and fill in your address and category.
- Verify your mobile number and email using OTP.
- Your Registration Number and Password will be generated — save them.
Note: If you had registered on the old SSC site (ssc.nic.in), you still need to do OTR on the new portal.
Step 2: Fill SSC CGL 2025 Application Form
- Log in using your Registration Number and Password.
- Click on the “Apply” button under the “Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2025” notice.
- Most information will auto-fill from OTR.
- Choose your preferred exam centers — up to 3 options allowed.
- If you’re applying for JSO or Statistical Investigator, answer additional questions to confirm your eligibility.
Step 3: Upload Photo & Signature
- Take a live photo using a webcam or mySSC mobile app.
- Ensure good lighting, plain background, and a clear face.
- Scan and upload your signature in JPG/JPEG format (10–20 KB).
