JSSC Teacher Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the JSSC Teacher Recruitment 2025, all candidates must carefully check if they meet the required qualifications and age limits. These rules are clearly explained in the official notification.
Educational Qualification
For Most TGT Subjects (like Political Science, Sociology, Home Science, etc.):
- A Master’s degree (Postgraduate) in the related subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
- A B.Ed. degree from an institution recognized by NCTE
OR - A B.A.Ed. or B.Sc.Ed. degree.
Important: The subject must have been studied during graduation as well. Candidates from SC/ST categories or with disabilities get a 5% relaxation in the required marks.
For TGT (Computer Science, AI & Coding, Cyber Security):
- M.Sc. in Computer Science/IT, or MCA, or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science/IT with 50% marks
OR - B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science/IT with 50% marks plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Application.
- A B.Ed. degree with at least 50% marks is also required.
For Special Education Teacher (Secondary Level):

JSSC Secondary Teacher Salary and Benefits
Candidates who are selected as Secondary Teachers (TGT) will receive a good salary along with various benefits.
- Pay Level: Level-6 of the pay matrix
- Monthly Salary: ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400

JSSC TGT Selection Process 2025
The selection will be done in two stages:
- Main Written Examination (CBT or OMR-based)

Exam Pattern
The main written exam will have two papers, each lasting for three hours. The exam will be conducted in two shifts.
Paper 1 (Qualifying Paper)
