Eligibility Criteria for MPEZ Apprentice Positions
If you want to apply for the MPEZ Graduate or Diploma Apprentice roles, you must meet certain eligibility rules related to education, age, and residency.
Educational Requirements
Applicants should have completed a B.E/B.Tech degree in Electrical, Civil, IT/Computer Science Engineering, a B.Com degree, or a Diploma in Electrical or Civil Engineering from a recognized government institution.
The year of passing your degree or diploma must be between 2021 and 2025. To confirm this, candidates need to submit a declaration form.
Your registration on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal must be approved. If your passing year is more than 5 years older than the NATS approval date, your registration will be rejected, and your selection will be canceled.
Age Limits (As of April 1, 2025)
- Minimum age: 18 years for all categories.
- Maximum age for the General category: 30 years.
- Age relaxation: SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates get a 5-year relaxation in the maximum age limit.
Residency (Domicile)
This apprenticeship is only open to candidates who are permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh. You must provide a domicile certificate.

Stipend and Benefits
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the rules set by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India:

- Diploma (Technical) Apprentices: ₹8,000 per month
Leave Entitlement
- 13 days of Casual Leave
- 15 days of Medical Leave
- Weekly and National Holidays
In case of any accident, compensation will be provided as per the Employee Compensation Act, 1923.
Selection Process for MPEZ Apprentices in 2025
Selection will be based entirely on merit through the following steps:
- Application Screening: All applications will be checked for eligibility.
- Merit List Preparation: Based on marks obtained in B.E/B.Tech (Electrical, Civil, IT/CSE), B.Com, and Diploma (Electrical, Civil) exams.
- Tie-Breaker: If two candidates have the same marks, the older candidate will be given preference.
- Waiting List: A waiting list will be created, and candidates may be selected from it if needed.
- NATS Registration: Approved registration on the NATS portal is mandatory. If the passing date is more than 5 years older than the registration approval, the selection will be canceled.
- Medical Fitness: Final selection requires a fitness certificate from a District Medical Officer. PwD candidates must provide a disability certificate showing at least 40% disability. Reservations for PwD will follow state government rules, except for hazardous trades.
- Document Verification: All submitted documents will be verified. If any information is found to be false or misleading, the candidate will be disqualified and may face legal action.
