RCFL Salary and Perks

Management Trainee

  • Training Duration: 1 year
  • Monthly Stipend During Training: ₹60,000/-

RCFL Selection Process 2025

RCFL will select candidates for the Management Trainee and Officer posts through the following three stages:

  1. Online Test
  2. Document Verification
  3. Personal Interview

Details of the Online Test

  • Mode of Exam: Computer-based test with multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
  • Test Centers: Bhopal, Delhi/NCR, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Thane/MMR, Nagpur
  • Language: The test will be available in both English and Hindi
  • Time Limit: 90 minutes
  • Total Questions: 100
    • 50 questions from the candidate’s degree/relevant subject (each carries 2 marks)
    • 50 questions from General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Knowledge/Awareness (each carries 1 mark)
  • Negative Marking: Marks will be deducted for incorrect answers

Note for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates: If you are traveling from another state to appear for the test, your train or bus fare will be reimbursed. (Applicable for travel by 3rd AC rail, mail train only)

Document Verification Process

  • After the test, a subject-wise merit list will be prepared.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:7 ratio (1 position for every 7 candidates) for document checking.
  • Shortlisted candidates must upload their documents online.
  • Before the interview, documents will be checked.
  • If any issue is found, candidates will get time to upload the correct documents.

Personal Interview Details

  • Candidates who pass the document verification stage will be invited for an interview.
  • The shortlisting will also follow a 1:7 ratio.
  • Interview call letters will be available on the RCFL official website, and updates will be sent via SMS/email.
  • Candidates traveling from other states for the interview will receive a reimbursement of their travel fare (3rd AC rail fare, mail trains only).

Final Selection Process

  • A separate merit list will be created for each category: General, SC, ST, OBC(NCL), and EWS.

    • Personal Interview: 20%
  • To qualify, candidates must score at least 50% on average in the interview.

Tie-Breaking Rules:

  1. Candidate with a higher percentage in their qualifying degree will be preferred.
